good times. you want your car to be in the 12s, then strip down your interior, get an lsd, upgrade your axles, open exhaust, make 8000 rpm launches youll be in the 12s easy, no nos needed.

i noticed that ususally the right side axles tend to break, thats how it was with 3 of my friends cars.

i dont want to strip my car, i need all that stuff in there. they were b-series axels that broke. pos. i dont think i will ever launch at 8,000rpms thats my redline . i think im just gonna take the easy way out and hook up a 50 shot of nos. and let it be strictly track use only lol, u know how that goes. ok ok i will also use if for back up on the street if i ever need it. lol

you strip it out at the track then put it back together right before you leave, thats what i do. but you need some upgraded axles to handle those slicks.

i am tellin you, get an lsd and well since you dont like the idea of 8000 launches, launch at 7500. with the upgraded axles, you wont have to worry about breakin axles.

theres a 4th gen hatch over here with a internally stock b16a, it has full interior and it makes 8000 launches, and it runs low 14s

also theres a 5th gen hatch full stripped, with a internally stock b16a and it launches at rev limiter and it runs mid 13s.

i am just saying, you could make some good times with high launches, i mean why come out of the hole with 140hp, when you can come out of the hole with 180hp. but its your decision

im wondering if a 50 shot of nitrous would break me into the 12's anyone know if it would.
50 shot should do it... But if not a 75 shot will Definatley do it and they are the same kit so get a WET one from ZEX... $600 and no stupid buttons!

i still wanna see time slips

everybody claims to run but nobody has their timeslip.. a timeslip is a racer's holy grail.

lol. like its very odd for a crvtec to hit 13's my boys are still up there in bakersfield, they come home tonight, i called it quits early, i came home this morning. but as soon as they get here i'll ask my mechanic for a copy of my timeslips, and find somewhere to scan it.

and i've had this setup for a few months now i am used to driving it i practice alot on the street out in the country, that was my first time on the track with slicks though, and that why you go to the tunning and testing so you can practice your driving, thats what i was doing untill my axel went out.

and i dont like the idea of launching at 8,000 i do drive my car every day and i need it so i dont want to put my engine through that much stress.

What does he have? Basic bolt ons? What tires did he used?

Redline civic- nice time. I think you could do a lil better at a higher launch. With upgraded axles and lsd u should hit low 13s no prob.
