what makes the domestics louder is the fact that they use a glass pack in place of the muff... at least round these parts they do...

yea, jeef is right, if you use the glasspack as a muffler it makes it louder, if you use it as a resonator, it makes it quieter. I had a glasspack on my car for a muffler, and it was louder than hell. Now I got a new exhaust put on and it sounds so much better.

Yea, its probably the lack of CAT, cause all i have on mine is a cat, 2 1/4 piping, and a muffler.

Go to the muffler shop and get a pre-silenser/resonator put in and it will take the raspy sound out of it.

glasspacks and cherrybombs were never meant to be used as the actual muffler, thats just what hillbillys do to kae ther p.o.s. trucks and cars loud as hell, there were meant to be used WITH a muffler.

placed between the cat and the muffler itself to make it more quiet....damn hillbillys

okay well thanks for the input. I am off t the shop to get a resinator put in...and type better than others? i just don't want to draw so much attention. I have been pulled over a couple of times and they said they noticed me bacause of my exhaust. So i will let you know how it turns out!:thumbup:
