Actually the top one is for the seats and locks, the bottom breaker is for power windows.

Are you sure. I know the haynes manuals are not always correct but heres what i found. I'm looking in my haynes manual and the wiring diagram shows me that the power lock has its own circuit breaker, relay and it is fused as well. It does not tell me where the breaker is though.

Power seat shows there is a 20amp circut breaker at the fuse block, thats it.

Power windows have a 30amp circuit breaker at the insturment panel fuse block and thats it. If the book is right i'd try the breaker. Every power option as you can see from what i just gave you, has there own protection devices. Go back to my earlier post and do that, you should be able to figure it out pretty quick. Good luck.

Thumbs up

Guys, I’m happy to report that I fixed the Power Seat & Lumbar problem, it was the wires under the carpet, they were wrapped in a protective plastic sleeve, I pulled them out and there was like 20 wires all together, the power seat one has a factory splice for the power and ground they were very corroded, Orange power with one lead, spliced into 3 wires: Driver power seat, power lumbar, and passenger power lumbar. I just spliced the wires and now it works great. SWEET….

About the power mirrors…Anyone have any suggestions as to why they don’t work?

About 2 years ago i was having a problem with the Power accessories/keyless entry not working, including the seat. The Fuse would get ultra hot when it was in. Once the fuse cool down id put it in and get power seats and keyless entry for about 1 minute, than nothing. So i started by checking the power seat (on my 97 only the drivers). Went underneath and pulled the controller out and there it was. A frayed wire was grounding on the seat causing my fuse blow issue. Patched up the wires (GM wanted around $30-50 cant remember for the wiring harness, so i just did a thorough wire repair) and i saved the hair on my head. So if anyone is experience this or any other problem related with a fuse blow out issue, thats a good place start. So this may confirm some of the other peoples fixes.
