Just go with b16. You'll be satisfied with it.

www.flashoptions.com

Stay away from b16b or b18c5. Its not worth the money. First gen b16a is a good choice. B16a2 cost too much and it comes with hydro tranny. Not only that its obd1 or obd2 depending on years.

take it that he's not moving on the price...i checked out the auction and DON'T GET IT b/c he only has one feedback and i wouldn't trust making thta big of a purchase with someone that only has one feedback...if that's a business then that's different

hey blueturtle? (sorry about the length)

what model civic do you have? also i wanted to let you know that the b16 engine is not just drop in and start up, it actually is very complicated. are you familiar with honda engines? depending on the model of your civic will determine the level of complication. if you have an SI, its less complicated because of MPFI, but if you have a DX, or an STD thats going to be coplicated as hell. also 2500 bucks might be cutting it to close, when you add in the swap 1500 bucks (quality) i would suggest hmotoronline also!! then you have to buy a bunch of teg parts from a 90-93 acura. i think you have to buy axels, ecu, dizzy, etc. now when you buy the teg parts its not done there, you then have to buy motor mounts which run about 300 bucks. so as you see it does add up, and you have to plan for problems, so if your insisting on the b16 i would wait until you have about 3500 bucks, but if you want speed why dont you go with a ZC engine and TURBO it? by the time you get the b16 swap done you could have a ZC engine turboed. also the zc engine is so much easier to put into our 4thgen's. just some advice for you. also if you have never rebuilt a honda engine, or dont know much about honda's i suggest you have it professionaly done!!
