i agree with Gabriel. every since SCC got their project 240, everyone at my school is always talking about how cool 240's are. well they were, now they talk about how cool viper's are since it won the USCC. sheep.

anyway, a friend of mine is looking at a nice 1995 SE(abs, lsd). he's going to put an NSPORT kit on it if he gets it. he's leaving the wheels and body all stock. it's black, with dark tinted windows. looks nice. if he gets it, i'll post some video of me and him racing(and drifting!)

bolt designs around rim = more weight = more unsprung rotational mass = less performance, more show. Those rims are still very cool, I cant wait to see tatII's updated sig pic.

TatII, i like those wheels. some unheard of companies make some nice wheels. they're definitley not too showy. can't wait to see them on the car.

Amen! I've had my 240 for four years now. At the time I was working on formula Mazda's and was looking for an rx-7 but fell in love at the first sight of my s-14. I still remember thinking when I bought it that maybe a skyline motor would fit and now finally I'm doing it...but I digress. Beyond the fact that a lot of these newbees have no understanding of what the chassis is intended for they also seen to be quite millitant. I can't stand some 17yr old acting like an expert when the fact is that his only form of mechanical education is Super Suck or Sport Crapact Car. It makes me laugh to know that I built race cars that have slaughtered cars built the mag's mechanics. If these kids only knew what a properly preped car looked like (in through the nose out through the mouth). You guys are cool though Whew I feel better, thanks. I do think any 240 should have a little shine to it though. Far to pretty a car to let look bad.

HEY!

I subscribe to SCC and I think it is just as informative as my grassroots motorsports subscription

They did a really good pocket rocket comparison couple months ago. Very objective.
