Arrow 240SX Newbie Questions?NE Help Plezz

Hey i gotta couple of questions bout the 240sx, for the ones '95 and up what do each of the model's represent (SE ect.) Also Ive heard the SR20DET is not a wise choice for racing ina straight line cuz of the powerband, whats the best Turbo motor for racing in a straight line. AND Like the first question, Does the '95 up 240SX come Turbo stock? and What model is that? SE? thnx

SE is special edition, If your in america then we didn't get the sr20DET we got KA24DE, if you gonna go in a straight line just turbo the ka and if you want to i think afterdark tuning sells rebuilt KAs and Turbo ready KAs and KAs that have already been turboed in case you have alot of mileage on your 91..and no it didn't come with a turbo in america, SE you had more options and 5 lugs..and also it had a front lip

they are both good engines and both can do whatever fairly competitively. I seen lots of Fast SR's in a straight line lol..... and I seen some fast KA-T's auto crossing and shit in videos.......

true there i've seen honda motors take 125 hit stock not happy but lasted. don't think a KA would fair as well might though. both motors do both very well but the extra size of the KA adding a turbo makes it a better drag motor.

the sr20 has a high rpm powerband. if u were to keep ur rpms high during a turn, u could accelerate out of it and switch into the next gear right after the apex of the turn probably. maybe a little further out.

as for the KA, u have to keep the RPMs down low turning in, to get the low end grunt that the torque motor needs to get it to 4500 rpm.

because 240's don't need naws, and no the SE does not come turbo but you can get a turbo from after dark tunning like DoriftoSX said
