I'd go for the RSX Type-S it has so many good standard features.... it's pretty luxurious aswell as really sporty and quick

Mitsu doesn't make the 3000GT anymore.... you could get a used one for uner 30k easy

the MX-5 Miata also got companies back into roadsters.... who knows maybe without it there would be no Porsche Boxster S, no BMW M roadster, no S2000

plus it's not that bad, the 6-speed is pretty fun to drive and handles really well... it's just a toy

not as fast as the S2000, but all the girls that no nothing about cars (ie. all the hot girls) will be drawn to that porsche badge over the honda badge(sadly)

I agree, women seem to be drawn to drop-tops which is an added bonus to owning a convertible. Oh, and a boxster S is faster than an S2k FYI.
