Re: 2 x Porsche: Cayman GT and Boxster „Stola“-like

Here some infos about the wheels:

Fujimi offers great BBS wheels, if you believe the package. What is inside is totally different

I thought , and got these :

thin Y-spokes , crisp, perfect casting.

These will be on one car, still looking for the second car

Looking great Micha! It's quite a project you've got.
What colour green is it you've used for the body on one of the Porsches? It should look quite striking when the build is complete.

Re: 2 x Porsche: Cayman GT and Boxster „Stola“-like

Hi,

little update:

Now final clear is on the bodys

The Boxster is covered with orange and later with metallic orange, the Cayman is primed silver and covered with a mixture of this metallic-orange and darkgreen.

At the end of next week I´ll start sanding and polishing.

Looking really good, Micha. I have enough trouble with just one build at a time.

Re: 2 x Porsche: Cayman GT and Boxster „Stola“-like

did you raise up the seats in the cayman so it sits higher?

i compared the GT3 seats to the cayman seats and the GT3 seats are smaller compared tot he cayman seats.

You sure are good at making paint on plastic look completely convincing and not like it's just paint on plastic. That interior is beautiful and very realistic.

you are right, the GT3 seats appear smaller. I glued some sheet under the seats, so the are about 1 mm higher.

Looks fantastic.

You chose good colors for that two Porsches to make them unusual!
