I think I can offer some useful tips, You have to be pretty good to do this car, the car is painted white and everything else is decals
![]() Even MicroSol is too strong for Tamiya's decals, so I use a hot damp cloth or tissue pressed over the decal. It will conform and lay down instantly with no wrinkles. A Q-tip can be used for smaller areas like down in a NACA duct on racecars. I only use MicroSol down in panel lines. Sometimes I use a hair dryer on the lowest setting, do not hold it still but move it quickly back and forth. If you have trouble getting decals to stick try a good white glue or Future under them. As for the Monogram decals you need to rinse all that white stuff away before the decals dry. |
