Re: Decal Tips Anyone???

I think I can offer some useful tips, You have to be pretty good to do this car, the car is painted white and everything else is decals

Even MicroSol is too strong for Tamiya's decals, so I use a hot damp cloth or tissue pressed over the decal. It will conform and lay down instantly with no wrinkles. A Q-tip can be used for smaller areas like down in a NACA duct on racecars. I only use MicroSol down in panel lines. Sometimes I use a hair dryer on the lowest setting, do not hold it still but move it quickly back and forth. If you have trouble getting decals to stick try a good white glue or Future under them. As for the Monogram decals you need to rinse all that white stuff away before the decals dry.
