A b-series engine will in no way bolt into an 84-87 Civic or CRX with out the use of a bolt in kit or custom fabricated mounts. None of the three mounts in the 84-87 Civic or CRX are close to lining up to the mounts on the B-series motors.
The first generation ZC and D series motors will bolt in though. brian g |

Finally, somebody who knows what they're talking about. I abandoned
this thread, because of the level of ignorance. I mean, we even posted pictures of both engine mounts that completely PROVE the fact that with out a custom fabrication or custom mount job the B series engine does not fit into a 1G CRX. So I'd like to thank you for supporting my argument. j

Well ANYWAYS glad u picked b16 for a 1st gen cause you will be MUCH faster than me with my 2nd gen rex! You got the weight advantage!
