The Bugatti EB 110 was totally Italian, but this make appeared in France (in Alsace).
The future Bugatti (Veyron and others) will be made in France in the original factory, but it belongs to VAG.
Look at the plates of all the Bugatti presented : French plates. So this make is Italian/French/German

Ettore Bugatti was an Italian living in the nord of France, and when the first Bugatti was sold (correct me if I'm wrong), it was in France.

Yes, the first 'Bugatti' was made in france, but the first car made by Bugatti was made in Italy
