Question about canadians importing cars from countries other then N/A

I know that there a rule that says to import vehicle from countries other then U.S.A It must be 15yrs old. where im confused is are canadians allowed to import upgraded/altered/ modified cars.

Hmm, id imagine that mods dont matter depending on the veichle. here in sask, everony registers there car at sgi, Only sgi. and mods or no mods you pay one rate and i dont think they are covered in your insurance. youd have to get special for that.


Still that is a good question, im not 100 % here.
