Re: Ferrari F348Toughbeard (60th Ann. Group Build)

Not a fan of 348, to much of Testarossa in it, but it should be interesting thread and a great model.

As for the seat, is floacking reacting when covered by paint?
I mean if you finish it like bottom part and then paint it all over again will it destroy the effect or make it better (is this logical to me only )

I must point out that I never used flocking, looks to messy to me, specialy now after this few pictures

I wont paint it but it has gunze flat on it all ready. once I am done completely I will sand it alittle to make it lighter in color and texture.

Hello,
I'm very curious to see the transformation!

By the way, those kits aren't rare anymore: Hasegawa made a new batch of it together with her sister, the TS. Also the 328 GTB and GTS.

That looks really good so far. The lack of the side-fins kinda looks... well, funny, but I think it's just because I'm not used to that look! I can't wait to see it once you slap some color on it.

Re: Ferrari F348Toughbeard (60th Ann. Group Build)

little update on whats going on

I am still working on the seats and I think it will take a few days before I am done.

I re sprayed the body with gray primer. the body is good to go except the air intakes. I totally forgot to putty the sides of the air intake Oh well I ll fix that tonight before going to bed

While at it I spray the first 2 coats of the semi gloss black to the chassis.

Ok back to flocking and putty work...
