Re: TechArt Cayman GT

I have to agree with Ales although I think that "plastic surgery" is more fitting than "butchery"

I will enjoy watching this come together.

Re: TechArt Cayman GT

Great idea you are executing there, although for my taste the Cayman looses its delicacy with the massive sideskirts and bumpers. Nevertheless - great technique and skills.

Re: TechArt Cayman GT

Finally got some paint thrown on. I mixed Ferrari's Verde Mugello with silver just for a bit of a tint. The pics don't show it's true color but when finished the outdoor pics will be a better representation.

Decided to use Carrera GT wheels and they are painted a gunmetal metallic color.

Seat faces and door panel strip sre Acryl's Sloth Brown(in ales' honor ).

Very smooth panel job!

(BTW is that a "Pontoon fender" I can spy in the background of the forst picture?)

Re: TechArt Cayman GT

One misses a lot when he doesn't check in... This is nice, Veyron! I saw the TechArt Cayman in a mag not too long ago and I looked over it for a loooong time, really a good looking car! Nice job with what you've done!
