Re: Honda CB 750 Four - the MOTHER of all 1:6 Tamiya motorbike kits!

Up to now all you have seen are separate parts. Time to start building them together to become a motorbike!

Awesome!
This could easily be mistaken for a 1/1 restoration project.

This is so great Guy. I love your work on the carburettors. They are spot on. The time spent on the spokes was well invested. it looks dandy!!

I can see that your pics are intended to be presentation type, but can you take a pic next to a 1/12 or a 1/24 pleasse.

For those of you who wonder about the size difference, here is a 1/12 scale next to a 1/6 scale bike.

I'm stunned. If you ever come to Vancouver, come around mid-October and bring it to the IPMS model show. It's definitely a show stopper even at this stage. Can't wait to see more!

Re: Honda CB 750 Four - the MOTHER of all 1:6 Tamiya motorbike kits!

I did a dryfit of the gas tank and the seat to see the effect. It starts to look like something...

Guy, it's superb. Can't expect less from you but every new job is a shock.

I read quick but I noticed a new awesome photo set-up, would you like add details about please? Picture are "PRO", but with a kind light set-up, it work fantastic on chromed surfaces. Thanks for sharing, awesome, inspiring and educational thread. BRAVO!

Re: Honda CB 750 Four - the MOTHER of all 1:6 Tamiya motorbike kits!

Absolutely impressive! But what I think you've done is, you took apart piece by piece a 1:1 brand new bike sometime in the late 70's. Took pictures of the process and NOW you are trying to fool us all by showing the pics in reverse order and tell us it's a model !!

You know I am joking, Guy! I tip my hat to your dedication and building skills. Truly inspirational for all level of modelers. You are proof that modelling is an art.

Saludos,
