If you had the ability to ZIP that directory up and send it, that would be greatly appreciated!

Sounds like one hell-of-a project you plan on doing. Hopefully you can get all the parts you need!

Re: Help with the FXX

Wow, beautifull photos!! That engine shot is superb...

Thank you all... I am going to document everything. I just got the Ferrari caps from Sakatsu... All the other Sakatsu items appear to be out of stock. Those shock are very different on the FXX from the Enzo (no oil reservoirs), so I am going to need to work on those...

I will check out Crazy modeler set when it comes out...I am also on a look out for any photos pf the "phantom" carbon fiber car....Also, if anyone has any ideas about how to approach some of the harder parts for superdetailing, let me know.

I will also take some photos of my Enzo and post them (as the old photos got destroyed during a computer crash)

Steve: have you detected this kind of color? (pix n°29 of your album) seem a bit lighter than the azzurro california

Re: Help with the FXX

Thats a beautifull color.. I would have done it with this combo, but I really want to try an all-bare carbon fiber car... My inspiration - Robrex Supra... that thing was AMAZING...

I remember that there was an all CF enzo here on AF but I can't seem to find it.

Re: Help with the FXX

There is an all-carbon fiber Enzo that I saw in this forum, but its a curbside, so all doors and rear hatch were glued shut.

Re: Help with the FXX

plan way b4 hand slk... esp the rear cowl... its well , much more work then on the Enzo :P .. maybe easier with CF as u dont have to spray so much... just a single undercoat of black will do

I can't recall who did that one either...;-)>

It's also found in the Gallery section on SMS's website.

Not curbside, just not detailed. Everything that was included in the Tamiya box is there...and yup. I glued the doors and engine cover shut. Made it MUCH easier to do the handmade CF templates...;-)>

My CF FXX will be the same way also.

Bill

Re: Help with the FXX

Does anyone know where these lines lead to? I can't find any images showing that and this pic below is the most visible shot I could get. Help much appreciated.
