Thanks for even more info guys.
The b18c option was just a thought as I was reading through all these Hybrid forums stuff. Seeing that I already have the b16a, I will probably just keep it and turbo charge it when the engine dies. That means getting better pistons, rods etc to decompress it. Unless I want 'really' want to get it done now, apparently HKS makes these decompression plates that could be used to lower the compression. I will do the job properly when I get it done so that it is reliable and not just fast. Setanta, I know what you mean by going for a car that is already turbocharged, but I just love the thought of VTEC TURBO!! Also, do you guys know how much the LSD tranny goes for and where can I get it? That would be a must when I turbocharge it, else the car would be ridiculously hard to control. |

If you look at July Hot4s, the third car in is a CRX Turbo. The owner - Nick - I know personally. He went to my school. The car is definately not every day driveable (he drives a S15 daily) and should be approached with extreme caution. If you still want to drive your car every day, DO NOT TURBO IT!!

=( And here's me just wanting to get a B16A. Does anybody wanna sponser me for it? I'll wear a singlet with ur name on it when I drive. UNDER my shirt, but it'll be there none-the less. But seriously, I keep hearing that the tranny in mine will be fine to use with a B16 as long as its a cable not hydraulic set up I put into it, yet also keep hearing I need to replace my tranny, any body wanna point me straight?

B series engines are NOT D series engines. Nothing at all, not one single thing is interchangable between the two, from the ECU, to the wiring loom, to the head, to the waterpump, to the radiator inputs, to the gearbox or driveshafts. Not even your engine mounts are of any use.
Anyone who tells you that is full of shit and doesn't have a clue

Me turning 37 is from Cerberus, we'd get busted for fucking up all the time and the axcuse was always, "but its Gavs bday" and hence Im 37. Scary.
