Trading My 1990 CRX SiR....Fast!...anyone interested?

If your reading this your interested in a black CRX SiR.......Here's my story: I bought this car because of the test drive I took in it, and because it is quick, fast and fun!!!........However, It has some minor things that need to be adjusted for street use, and with a job and college applications needed to be filled out i just have no time to do these small jobs. Much money and work was put into the car, and could be parted out for a good amount of money.....so im looking for a trade value of around 2500$....(don't want to selll just want another CRX)...A nice stock CRX si (no mods) with 150,000 on it im looking for with a manuel transmission and something that could be put on the road immediately, for a trade-in, no earlier than 1988,..It's a sweet car, just needs someone who knows what there doing with it and I don't, because the after market muffler is too loud for road use, and it has tinted windows just 5% over the limit (can be peeled off easily), just little stuff like that which i don't want to deal with, and most important of all the car is very quick and I would probably crash it as I want to start with a stock one, I can't even drive stick yet, but I want to still get a manuel and learn. I still love CRX's for their look and simplicity, so if you want make some fair offers for a trade..........Thanks

Here are some things that were put on the car (I have receipts for many of the things listed):

- The engine is from a 1994 Honda civic and it has about 60,000 miles on it. (No receipt)

- The clutch is a stage 2, center force clutch (No receipt)

- The car was lowered 2" with matrix springs- (have receipt: 140.00$ just for the springs, not counting labor)

- Carbon Fiber hood w/ scoop-(have receipt: 400.00$)

- Complete Mugen Body kit w/ wing-(have receipt: 899.00$)

- The sparkplug wires are aftermarket: 8mm +300 Thundersport Ferro-Spiral Ultra Performance 150 ohms/toot (No receipt)

-Its equipped with an MSD Sport compact ignition which I was just going re-wire but haven't had the time to. (No receipt)

-It also has an MSD high performance distributor (No receipt)

-Has MSD ignition coil as well (No receipt)

-Red Racing Harnesses are installed

-Altezza Carbon Fiber Look Tail Lights (have receipt: 179.95$)

-After market gauges as well (No receipt)

-Honda CRX Pacesetter header (have receipt: 181.99$)

- The car also has Rare 15" Racing rims, with low profile tires (25-30% tread left) which have 8 lug holes and are very expensive

-Has Kenwood stereo unit included (150$)

The work needed:

Alright here it is...A whole bunch of little things that i cant do, due to time constraints and knowledge constraints!!.....the doors have some dents on them and one of the doors is loose because the hinge was pulled out, but it still opens and closes, and a little work would get it working fine again. There is also a gash right by the rear view mirror on the driver side that cuts pretty deep into the door. When I initially bought it my mentality was just to get two other doors from another CRX and throw them on, but I just haven't had any time to do this. The Climate controls in the center console are cracked as well. The doors still work fine though, and could be easily driven without any replacement done to them at all. The engine bay has a split in it as well, but I got a mechanic to look at it before purchasing it and he told me it wasn't a serious problem and it was very fixable......The timing belt was loose when I purchased it and I'm in the process of tightening it....because it slipped and now it won't start...but im currently working on that, should be running soon as it was a little while ago, It may need to be trailed if I can't do the job (i can manage trailing it to the destination). The corner blinkers are a little screwed up, due to the fenders, and a lens is missing but easy to replace and fix. The body itself is great however as the hatch part is in good shape and there is very little rust on the car overall. Above one of the back wheels there is rust, but it could easily be bondoed. The rocker panels have very little rust on each of the, except for a 1.2inch hole on the driver side, which is not major, just trying to be as accurate and truthful as possible. The foglights are also missing currently. The driver side window will not go up to fullest extent it can either as the glass pane seems to be misplaced, however, it still is functional. This car does need a little work and TLC, but nothing major, I just don't have the time or knowledge to do the work. It would make a great winter project car, or a fun and fast car to just drive around. The odometer reads 187,xxx. I bought this car with little knowledge and time to do anything with it, I don't have the patience either. so my loss is your gain, I just got a clean title in the mail. I could easily part it out and make some good money on it, but once again i have no time. Thanks for showing interest.

Will throw in an extra intake manifold, and cylinder head as well.....(could get 250$ on ebayfor them)

Need to see to appreciate!!!!!!........

I have some nice pics to send anyone who requests them or is serioulsy interested in a car trade......

I live in Massachusetts, and i am 17 years old, my name is zack.......e-mail me with offers questions or concerns... [email protected] .......would love to hear from you!!!!!!

if its an Sir, why does it have a 94 civic motor?
didnt state if it was RHD,
didnt say if it was imported
didnt mention anything rare on it
would keep it if it was a REAL Sir.
or sell it for like 9000 if it was a real Sir

i vote BS on this too. sounds like a stock crx with a 94 civic motor, and maybe an Sir badge

Re: Trading My 1990 CRX SiR....Fast!...anyone interested?

Searched google and I did find several pages saying that there was a canadian 6th and 7th gen SiR that was the same as the US Si, didnt look long enough to see any other years, but sence there is later years there is probably earlyer years that are the same.
