Pic of the engine.

The engine has been detailed with wires , taking on account the article in a classic car magazine of my father, in which the engine bay were shown.

As I said before, this is truly a recommendable kit for changing a little bit the Japanese subject. I AM THE GREATEST Japanese car fan on earth , really. But there are some essential, crucial kits of street cars to have in you expositor if you call yourself modeller-collector.That would be:

-An old Beetle:Tamiya or Hasegawa preferable.
-A mini: Tamiya , the Morris or Austin, or , BETTER ! the 1/12 rover.
-An E-Type (XKE): The Heller kit would be fine.Or huge 1/8 from Monogram /Revell.
-A Lotus Seven:Tamiya.
-A Mercedes 300SL (Gullwing): AMT / ERTL 1/25.
-A `65/`66 Mustang:Mmmm may be AMTīs `66 1/25
-A `68/`82 Corvette: Revell Or Monogram (1/24-1/8)offerings. Or may be 1/12 OTaki / Doyusha.
-A `70-`81 Camaro.Lots to good kits to choose.
-A `70-`81 Firebird. Lots of models.
-A Bugatti Type 35. Better Monogramīs 1/24
-A Bugatti Type 41 Royale. ITaleri.
-An AC Shelby Cobra. Mmm AMT? New from Fujimi?
-A LAmborghini Miura. Fujimi 1/20.
-A Lamborghini Countach. Fujimi 1/24.
-A Ferrari 365GTB/4 Daytona.OR the spyder. Only Fujimi.
-A Ferrari Testarossa.Tamiya.
-A Ferrari F40. Tamiya.
-A Ferrari 250GTO `62. Only ITaleri or Revell 1/24.
-A Fiat 500.Tamiya.
-A Citroën DS /ID19.Heller 1/16.
-A Citroën 2chevaux.Tamiya.
-A Morgan.Tamiya or even ARII.
-An Alfa Romeo Giulia Spyder 1600.Revell 1/24
-A good 911!!!!!!!!!!!. Donīt know there are lots very nice to buy.
-A Porsche 356.Fujimi.
-An Aston MArtin DB5. Difficult here. May be better to pick the Monogramīs DB4 1/24.
-A Lancia Stratos. Mmm donīt know. Nitto / Doyusha 1/12.Would be incredible but just in rallye guise.
-A Rolls Royce Phantom II. Better Revell 1/16, but also Italeriīs 1/24.
-A Bentley 4.5 L. Blower.Heller 1/24.

This would be a little list. Can you add some more to complete it? Are anyone missing.
Next time we can all make the Japanese crucial model list?? What about it?

There was a Mini drag car here in NZ that had a 327 Chev that used to run 10 sec quarters untill it crashed
Driver used to sit in the back seat as the small block was mid mounted.

Jeez you guys, Minis' fantastic little cars!

MINI WOODY WAGON?? errr I'm pretty sure they were called Mini Travellers!!

The Mini was always the same the only difference in the names were when Morris became Austin which became British Motor Co. (BMC) which became British Leyland which became Austin Rover which ended up as Rover which B.M.W bought so they could basically pinch Land Rover (The Best 4x4, By Far!) and of course the NEW Mini.

Here in England just about anything and everything has been done to Minis' Jet engines, small block Chevys', Top fuel dragsters the list is endless

Originally Minis' had 850cc engines this was expanded to 998cc, 1098cc and of course the 1275cc used in the clubman/cooper versions.

I once owned a 1275GT with twin 40 webers on it and many other mods (head worked to stage 3, exhaust, induction blah-de-blah) and it went like greased weasel-shit and as Daryl said they handle like go-karts!!

Sorry if I bored you but there you go!!

We Spanish soup the little mover our way too.

In NAvarra , north of Spain the Mini, as well as Austins / Morris / MG 1100/1300s were built by "Authi"BMC. And we had the only 1300GT in production. With black vynil roof and a dash full of wood and gauges. ITalians made it also under the brand Innocenti.
