It could make a small difference.

You may notice more of the little sounds in your music, and it will make road noise quieter, and you won't have to turn the volume up as loud. It's worth doing as much as you are willing to do.

As for Dynomat, they are not the first company to make the product, though they may have been the first to market it mainstream and charge waaaaay to much for it. I don't wear Nike shoes, and if noone buys dynomat ever again, the world will still go around.
It's simply not worth the money, there is no reason for them to charge so much. If thier uncompetetive pricing cause them to go out of buisness, it is thier fault.

How do you dynamat the doors well? I haven't really tried at all, but it seems like it would be a pain in the ass to get it in all the little openings.
