Dont do this to me!!!!

Dynamat takes care of rattles. It takes the sound waves and turns it into a VERY VERY VERY low level of heat. Its not going to ever get hot or anything like that, but it does do that. You apply it by heating it up and pressing it VERY firmly onto the metal and presto ~ no more rattles.

You can use it for not only stopping rattles in your trunk from a powerfull subwoofer setup, but you can also apply it to the metal on the floor, roof, doors ~ to eliminate road noise.

Also, it doesnt HAVE to just be Dynamat ~ it just has to be any of the following brands (because they all come from one supplier)

Fusion, Blaupunkt, Pioneer, Lanzar, Legacy, Pyramid, Power Acoustik, Farenheit, Visonik, or underbody neon kits and neon tubing... So if anyone wants any of the above stuff, we can also include that

Aren't the Neon Underbody kits illegal for street use? Or is it just certain colors that are illegal?

Nope they are legal, its all on the interpretation of the law. So unless you want to get a lawyer (aka a family friend who will do it for you) its probably not worth it. At least I knew, the law in most area states that you may not see the bulbs or SOURCE of the light from another vehicle. So basically thats saying if someone else (a cop) in a car is passing by you ~ and they can see the source of the lighting you will get a ticket. It is possible for a cop to pull you over and give you a ticket just because ~ best thing to do is just keep your mouth shut, be polite and take the ticket. Then goto court with a lawyer and bingo youre out of it

That is why neon license plates are illegal, because you can see them. So if you mount the kit properlly it is perfectly legal.

sparq: how much you think it'd take to dynomat my entire car? by entire car, i mean, the hatch, floor, roof, doors, etc..
think 39 sq. feet would take care of it?

Yes..

Dreemkill... well you can figure it out yourself. Personally I dont think 39sq ft would be enough, but you would be able to cover alot of stuff with it
