The engine was built for a special racing series in japan. With the same setup and rules they got better low end torque, and since the engine is lighter, better weight transfer...

You can't do the swap, you would have to convert to all wheel drive, get a new tranny, change the length of the car, and get new engine mounts. In other words, you need 40,000 dollars.

ok, first off, just get (for any RB awd-rwd conv.) a rb25 rwd transmission, it should bolt up to any rb engine.

secondly, no rb engines in a fwd car unless you somehow convert it to rwd.

third, a vq engine will swap into a rwd car as long as you get a new driveshaft and keep the tranny when you pull it out of the donor car.

4th, all nissan sports car chassis (skyline, silvia, sentra, not maxima) are the same with little modifcations, this is called platform engineering. it cuts costs but also means that engine swaps are easy, as are rwd conversions.
