No Transponder Key with New Engine Swap?!?

Hi everybody, it's been 2 years since I had the 2003 VQ35DE in my garage Now that I've graduated and my car is finally paid off, I'm about to finalize things in Houston for Chicago and get the VQ35 swap done this time. Where are the people who've done this swap? My car is a 2001 Anniversary Edition Maxima so it should be plug and play but,

My situation is that when I bought the VQ35 motor, it came with ECU and wiring harness, but not the transponder key. Is it possible to use my existing ignition cylinder, key and immobilizer (IMMU) with the new ECU? It would be hard to not to be able to start the new engine and see how it runs before actually installing it into the car so......

So far, I've been in sync with Nissan Dealerships in Houston and Courtesy Nissan in Dallas/Richardson Texas. I've even called Nissan North America in California all the way to Smyrna, Tenn. and no one seems to know a possible solution to my problem. So where should I try next? Japan?

As far as I understand from one of the mechs he tells me the ECU is independent of what key I use and that the immobilizer (located above the ignition cylinder) needs to be reprogrammed to work with the new ECU. Is this true? What do I need to start my car?

Things I know I need for swap:
new flywheel
new key?
new immobilizer?

Hi , Maybe you should just buy a rb26dett and drop it in, and shorten the wheelbase by 20 inches, that would look totally weird. yeah.. LOL
