If you went to the F-MAX I am pretty sure that they use the turbonetics T3/T4..... Correct me if i am wrong... If you get that big of a turbo, your turbo wont spoon until high revs, i would consider getting a stroker kit first to get your liters high enough to be able to spoon that big of a turbo

correct: the larger the turbo, the higher you have to rev unless your engine is pumping out A LOT of exaust.

uncorrect: getting a stroker kit is not a good idea. the rod to stroke ratio would then be altered, cause it to be lower than it is. putting a stroker kit will create more sideloading on the rods, which can eventually snap the rods in half and shoot itself out the block. if you want more displacement, the best way to go is bore the engine out. getting a bigger bore piston will not affect the rod to stroke ratio. depending how much you bore the engine, you might need to resleeve the engine. it's possible to bore the B18C1 out to 2.1 liters (with resleeving).

JE offers an 81.50mm bore for the B18C1, which is .020% more bore than the original 81.00mm. this should make your engine close to 1.9 liters, if not more.
