The rear red light is the Euro spec fog light. Standard on all the European models.
Don't like it, want to remove it as soon as possible!

what's the point of that? and why'd they only put it on one side?

1. It is very high intensity, kinda like a brake light, so if shows up well in bad weather!

2. Because they are dilfs, and have no idea about style! "Oh, lets spend ages designing a car, but then just add one fog light on one side so it looks odd!" Durrrrr!

Notice they are the same fog lights on all Japanese cars too! Like they bought a job lot!

But I don't see it in the pic in your sig, right?

I was behind a Jag the other night that has the rear fogs built into the taillights, and DAMN!!! are they bright! For heaven's sake turn those damn things off!!!
