You can use the same paint that I did, just use less coats. I wanted mine to look black cause the car is black but one even coat will make them look nicely smoked. Hope this helps.

Yeah, I'm slowly removing all of the yellow. The pinstripe is of the painted sort so that will go when the car gets painted. Which will hopefully be soon.
