Lighting
From the beginning, i was wanting to have the internals illuminated. Firstly, i thought of using neons but wasnt able to find anything that would fit straight in. I then enquired about having a neon specially made to fit but as i discovered, its quite costly. Ive now opted for LEDs ,not 10, not 20 or even 30 BUT 42 of the f*ckers! Reason being is that the rack is quite big, as you can see, so it needs a lot of LEDs to illuminate it. The problem is, each LED is 5.5 volts so i need to wire 3 LEDs in series and then wire each set of 3 in parallel. Each set of 3 give a combined load of 16.5 volts which is suitable to run on a cars battery without the use of resistors, or i would need 42 of them aswell. Anyway, the LEDs are on order, and im patiently waiting their arrival so i can get started on the huge task of soildering it all together.

Lights are done
 Here are some pics of the lighting complete. All 42 LEDs are now wired together into two wires, positive and negative. You wont be able to see the LEDs but you will see a blue glow around the amps.Nice?

WHO DA MAN!!!
ITS DONE ITS DONE ITS DONE!!!
Ive just spent a total of 8 hours installing the amp rack. Its now 3.50AM monday morning and ive just finished. Just need to install relay for LEDs and Fans, but everything in working order. I'll post some pics when i figure out why the Digi Cam wont download.
