Just a few more pictures. Nothing done to the car yet, my decal solution/water bowl keeps drying up every two days, which is about as often as I work on it.

Might as well tell what the surprise is now also, if you haven't figured it out. The pictures are of my diorama for the rally car, durh. It is going to have a chicane between the two hill/rock outcropings. Actually, it's going to be between a s-bend and a chicane, more like what is sometimes called a dogs leg turn. So, I just have to lay down the gravel road and miscellaneous plants, them it's all ready for the rally.

I believe the size of the board is 1.5-2 feet by 3 feet.

Really not looking forward to dirtying up the car...but if I must. I could make it fairly early in the race so there is little dirt on the car.

Great solution!! I too will be building a diorama in the near future and wasn't looking forward to dirtying the car. Kinda worried I'll be left with something that more resembles diorrhea instead

It looks like Mr. Decal didn't like Mr. Clear Coat, so now I'm going to have to weather the car to cover it up. Damn you Tamiya.

Remember what Bob Ross says: We don't make mistakes, we have happy accidents. Now you can weather the car all you want and make it really looked 'rallied'.

That looks like it will be a cool diorama. Make it like the really Rally GB, make it muddy with some Future floor polish so it's all glossy.
