black wash on the I/C yes....but heat stains? what if it's supposed to be a NEW engine? I would be upset if I went and bought a NEW car with the paint all crinkled on the valve covers (unless it was meant to be that way) or if the I/C piping were all heat stained....I wouldn't buy it because OBVIOUSLY the sales crew of the dealer were out hot rodding around in this "NEW" car.... hahahaha tryin' to help you out here Frank!!

you should get a resin casting kit and make some molds of those engines if you use them so often. just a sugestion.
