Re: 2000 accord 1/4 time. Please read.

I'm sure the 99 LX can run a good mid 15 to low 16 second 1/4... I'm in the process of making my 99 LX a bit faster, have Intake, and DC sports 421 header going in.. getting the PS revolution exhaust as soon as it is out.. trimming weight all around the car, and adding Tein SS, and rear Disc Brakes, with SS brake lines. Turbo will be added as soon as I get the money for a good kit... T25, or T3/T04e... I have piled up all the parts I took out of the car, and I'm going to weigh them all when I am close to complete.. and see how much fat I took out of my car... I call it putting a honda on a diet...

Hey guys let's get back to the game here...
If you add the regular bolt-ons you should gain some power and overall best time. Cold Air intakes are the way to go- you need to get more cold air into the engine if you want a bit of power. I have a 5 speed accord with all the regular bolt-ons except for a turbo. I can do mid 16s on it- but I don't like the fact that to get these numbers you have to beat on the car. Just one time is fine but don't mess up a perfectly good car just for numbers... enjoy the ride.
