I have just recently gotten into all the import tuning stuff. I recently traded in my 200 Honda Civic Dx, for a 1997 Honda Civic Ex. I definitly want to learn and do everything myself!! My boyfriend is about to purchase an Acura Integra and we are going to fix them up together. But I am all about doing it yourself! where is the fun in someone asking what is under your hood and you saying...." Hmmmm not sure ...ask my boyfriend he did it for me?" wtf ever

My boyfreind changes my oil, only cause he thinks it'll save us money......personally 20 bux at the nissan dealer and a saturday appointment works just spiffy for me.....but he insists, if he wants to, be my guest....I really don't do any work on the SE-R, it has a warranty, and I'd rather not void it with a stupid CAI...
but the Beetle you can find me underneath it just about every other weekend, covered in oil, speaking in 4 letter explicatives..

I have to agree with all of you. I hate to see rich, prissy *** girls driving souped up cars. That either mommy and daddy, or their boyfriend fixed. And you can tell for sure, that they didn't touch a single screw... It is so much funner to ride in your car, the YOU worked on, and that YOU did. I can see having a guy do certain things thing helping with an engine swap, or doing big things. But hell, I mounted my tires, I painted my old car, and I put in the short shifter... I didn't get any help. I need to get my car posted in here

yummy

your integra is phat, i love the black rims(r those motegi's) it looks racey. i have a girlfriend with a 93 prelude and yes its a vtec, she helps out, but i do most of the work. i dont mind. she is interested in learning so i'm interested in teaching. i'm so glad to see females into the import world. it wouldnt be the same without them, on the hood, or behind the wheel

Motegi's are American Racing brand wheels under a foreign-sounding name. They're crap, your stocks are better. just fyi...

BTW, props to ladies who turn the wrench on their own cars. Like I always say, if you want it done right, you have to do it yourself.

Sounds good. I'd definitely take the pin stripe off, it looks a lot cleaner that way. Although mine was baked into the paint, so you can still see it and looks like ass, but you have a new car so you shouldn't have that problem.

I don't know if I should be posting in the ladies' forum, but all the others are dead and I need something to post on!
