do it yourself tinting spray...anyone tried it? need your opinions..

i found this online

tint spray

has anyone tried it?? how did it come out? and do you recommend doing it yourself with this??

I have a can in my garage. Never got around to do it. I used static cling window tint for the past couple of years.

you know where i can check out the static cling window tint that you talked about online? and is that easy to put on??

I got mine at Walmart in the automotive section.

Very easy to put on and take off.

i just painted the amber section of my taillights red, it turned out awesome wiht the transparent candy apple red paint. But the tinting spray is good, spray a few layers, and if u want it to look flat black, leave it like that, if you want the glossy black finish look, spray a layer or two of clearcoat on top and ure done

i will post pics of my car soon, ive done a lot of stuff to it and ull be able to see the taillights how they turned out

we used some shit you get at the model shop to do my friends civics taillights, but its chippin, we probably didnt sand em good enough. This shit looks pretty cool though, im considering trying to do the windows on my car with it, but I wanna see some pics of someone elses job before I go and fuck my shit up.

I also have done my tails using the same shit. Center piece didnt come out that great, but I think I put layer #2 on a little too quick, plus I couldnt get it off the car so I did it right on the car ... lol.
