I spent 7 months looking into what cd player and speakers...

I bet your system sounds pretty nice... my gf has a pioneer Cd player (50x4) and 6 1/2 Kenwood front/back and nothing else and it sounds pretty damn sweet (no amp, no subs)...

they are now at best 11 years old, and you will still pay 4000 bucks for one...

I've seen several clean 2nd gen b16a powered CRXs go for more than $7000 on ebay in recent weeks - so really, the swap isn't such a bad investment if you decide later on to sell your car... you might not get back everything you put into the car, but it definitely adds to the value...

Not that I would ever sell my CRX.

the mods i have planned are all performance oriented. the badges are the exception. most of the bodyparts i chose were chosen for their ability to compliment the crx's shape. there is not 1 ounce of rice on this car. i simply need people to know its fast, and my car will hint at its performance. i know about the "honda kids" and their misconceptions. In a 92 civic hb sport compact car netted 14's and 0-60 of 6.5s with b16a power. this was using jg header,hi-flow cat,aem cai, maybe more than remember off-hand. but i have planned even more, and with a lighter car plus the bottle, i would get 13's! I can beat civic ex's, but so what. i need to beat ws6's,z28's,and the like. as far as the body goes, a stock 96 civic front isnt gonna mess the air flow up- if i was to get a aggressor kit or some funky mess like it, then id be sacrificing performance for looks, and integra mirrors fold, which is why i want them. I also need the car to be pleasing to the eyes. tell me a mod you want me to explain, i can explain the reason i chose it.

What parts did you have to get and how much did it all cost?

hood, hood hinges, bumper, fenders, rad. support, fender liners, headlight support, and grille. i didnt get a bumper reinforcement, or lights. these parts came from 2 civics from a wrecking yard for 575.00. the fenders may represent a problem, since the a-pillar connection area is much different from the crx. that was more than i thought i'd have to get, but that is still a good price since clear corners/bumpers,z3's,front body kit, hood/w scoops would run the same price.
