Check out the subject "Wind noise fix" just a little further down in this forum. I think this should help you solve the problem. This particular problem and fix doesn't seem to be in the dealer system yet.

It depends on the wind speed and direction.
Good luck

Well, I drove my car today in strong wind coming from the west. When I turned toward the west the nosie came back, but it was steadier than before. When I turn the windshield washer on it will stop for at least a 30 min.

I got the following message from another person that I have had some info regarding this issue. I will check it out and thought you might want to also.

My venture has stalled on me approx. 6 times. Most of the time it happens when I am turning into a parking spot and it has stalled a couple of times as I am cruising to a stop. My venture is a 2004 and my dealer says to me that because it is not a consistant problem they can not do anything.

I can guarentee that when my lease is over I am done with this van.

Re: 2004 Venture wind vibration sound from under the hood.

I recently blocked off my rad completely with a house for sale corrugated plastic board ( it was very cold inside )and the noise stopped even at 80mph. i believe it stops air from entering at rad and exiting just below windshield at the seal between cowl and just below wipers. vibrating noise may come from seal or wipers. i too tried everything but gave up then stumbled on this by accident.in the summer will drive with wipers at 12 position ( pull the fuse ) to see if it is the wipers.

Re: 2004 Venture wind vibration sound from under the hood.

My 97 sometimes stalls when I come to a stop (every 4-5 months), but mostly when it's a quick stop. It stalls more often ( 2-3 months) going down this big hill from my house at the bottom going about 35-40 mph curving left as I am braking, but not always when I am braking. I just shift it to NEUTRAL and restart it, put it into DRIVE and proceed.

I suffered this problem with my 2003 Venture until I noticed a rubbing problem with the back wheel cowling on the passenger side. I had to put in a screw to avoid rhe loose cowling and a wonderfult thing happened. The high pitched squeeling went away. So check the cowling arounf the tires as it may be the problem.
