i like that last part about making pact about gettin laid. its reminds me of american pie for some reason.

anyways my goal at the end of this year is looking grim. non of my parts arrived yet, and i'm going broke. so if you say late january then its possible. but by the end of this year, its not looking so good.

begining of year goal is to run 13 psi and making around 280whp.

end of next year goal is making 400whp.

This is why American Pie should have recieved an NC-17, look at how it has corrupted this young man's mind. J/K man, but really Id work on #7 before any of the rest, and id leave your freinds out of it.

Re: your end of the year goals!

Kinda.

First goal was to get something better than a Rav4, and I did that. Now I'm on my second goal of I/E/S, and if all goes as planed, I'll be getting it before Jan 1st...so yeah. If not, then eh.

Its pretty sad when the fastest svt contour is naturally aspirated running a 13.4 @ 102 and the fastest forced induction svt contour runs a 13.5 @ 111. Traction is really an issue with these cars. Hopefully, once i get my electronic boost controller worked out, ill be running 12s, although if it were rwd, i would easily be in the 11s with 400 whp. The weather sucks right now, but it definetely hauls balls. First and second gear are useless. It just spins the tires.
Your goal should be to do a RWD conversion.

ok so the year is comming to a end quickly,
so i was just curious how did evey one do one their yearly goal for their car?
meaning did you guys accomplish what you set out to do to your car for this year?
I plan to do so on the 18th in Sac. I just did a few mods and dynoed 347whp with the new combo which is the record for any M90'd GTP in the Nation on stock heads.

To do this record justice I need to get a kick ass track time.

Mods added:
-Switched to the ZZP XP Cam
-rebuilt tranny with Torque converter, drilled flexplate, hardened input shaft, single chain gear setup.
-ZZP Stage2 IC
-Larger MAFF
-Better Fuel Rails
-Machined the SC snout to fit a 2.55" pulley
-Suspension limiter kit(to help with launching)

I plan on getting mid-low 12s, hopefully a 110+ trap and if I can get a 1.7 maybe 11.9s will be possible with some more weight reduction(front seat&catback)

That is an absolutely beautiful pic!

Turns out for me now that I have a co op job between semesters I can afford to buy out my Rsx after the lease! go me! and I will also have a bit of money to spend on my car...

1) Intake, filter, headers, sway bar
2) ECU upgrade

these are pertty steep considering I have to pay my tuition, pay for my car, and pay for insurance on my co op money and summer job money from before...I hope I can get this done and be able to do some serious mods when I graduate

Goal for 2004
1. Strip, fix and paint the Stang
2. Get the short block of my new 351W stroker done.
3. Get the truck running.
4. Fix the tilt control on my boat.
5. Finihs mocking up twin turbo manifolds for the 351W stroker

Since I didn't finish accomplishing any of these it was a bad year. But since I'm more than 50% done on all 2005 will be my year!!!!!! or so I hope....

I half way did my goal..

if you remember, i purchased a wrecked J30t and was restoring it. along the way i raced it and won a few great races, and just yesturday i finished the two doors, the bumper, the fender, and the hood. All i have left now is the rear quater panel (which i'm still trying to figure out how to remove) but my main goal was completed. i wanted to have my car be one color again. I did a little half ass collage to celebrate my accomplishment.

next year? i will get the rear quater panel done!!!

Btw, all the pictures besides the top right were of the progress... the wrecked ,to the mis colored parts, to the completed front end.

Re: your end of the year goals!

none of my goals got done. I was going to put a 6 inch lift on the bronco, and rebuild the motor. None of this even came close to happening. Next years goal is to leave the bronco like it is, and get a foxbody mustang GT or a 240z.
