Talking your end of the year goals!

ok so the year is comming to a end quickly,
so i was just curious how did evey one do one their yearly goal for their car?
meaning did you guys accomplish what you set out to do to your car for this year?

i myself exceeded that goal, i was just planing to get the probe up and running and do the intake/exhaust/ mbc@12psi, i got way past that, i wasnt expecting the probe to become this quick in this period of time. so im happy with my progress during this year

im such a ..

next year goals:
get a faster car! 13sec car by the end of next yr. thats my goal. i hope i can get there and excede it by next yr. end.

My goal of the year was to mod a crappy 4door sunfire into a Mustang GT. Funny, it actually worked out, but I cheated....alil.

300 whp, 321 wtq @ 8 psi. Should put down 400 whp on 15-17 psi and some higher octane gas. Guess we'll find out after the new year.

To my understanding the T-bird has an engine very similar to the SN95 series of Mustangs, is that true? If so thats about 215 hp. a 99+GT is 260. If so you should be almost there, Im willing to bet if you got some higher end gears (not sure whats avail. for T-bird) you should have your goal....

as for beyond's car, that is amazing originality. That car is awesome, and I too would love to see times.

I literally just got the car back Friday from MI, from being dyno tuned. We discovered a small oil leak on the rear valve cover, so my tuning was cut short and i wasnt able to raise the boost to ~ 15 pounds. Truthfully, these cars are not meant for the drag strip. Its pretty sad when the fastest svt contour is naturally aspirated running a 13.4 @ 102 and the fastest forced induction svt contour runs a 13.5 @ 111. Traction is really an issue with these cars. Hopefully, once i get my electronic boost controller worked out, ill be running 12s, although if it were rwd, i would easily be in the 11s with 400 whp. The weather sucks right now, but it definetely hauls balls. First and second gear are useless. It just spins the tires.

Re: your end of the year goals!

Well, I'll tell you, I never met my goals for this year. Lousy year for me. But I'll tell you my next years goals:

1. Beat My dad's 3kgt.
2. Drop in new motor
3. Sell my Civic
4. Buy a Trans Am
5. Beat my Dad again
6. Make it through my probation period without getting a ticket
7. Make a pact with 4 of my buddies to get laid by the end of summer

Well, doubt any of that will happen, but who knows? It's a fresh year coming up. I can't wait for it to begin. Late...
