Absolutely superb looking car! But I think I ve commented about the same stuff when you showed the fabulous interior too, eh

Now if I can be a nitpicker, this is only of personal taste you know, but I d have diluted a bit more the wash that you ve applied to the wheelnuts and rims, but that s just an IMO comment...

otherwise I d be superhappy to have it in my closet!

As for the supra and the engine, those look to be two superb looking finished projects. by the looks of it

Great job despite those mistakes you mentioned. Don't you just hate when a decal breaks up like that, been there done that. I respect the thoughtful warning for others, man that was cool.

I'm speachless!!! How do you do that? Hard to believe you build it al the way from scratch I'm planning to scratchbuild an S2000 engine too... I'm afraid I can't compete with yours...

The Celica looks awesome to btw. Nice build.

Just got the chance to reply, internet has been very bad and lots of "to do" here at work.

Thanks all for comments, they have been very nice and inspire me to build more and better ones!

...did you scratch build those attatchment points for the exhaust? Very nice.
Only suggestion I can think to make is to trim off as much of the clear carrier film from the decals before applying them, it's noticeable in a couple of shots.
Yes, they are brass rods of .5 mm, I drilled the back of the ones that are cast on the original piece and drilled the chasis also to pass the rods glued with drops of CA, more or less the same was done on the roof vent as I sanded the bolts on it and drilled and passes .5 mm rods, I think that they look nicer than the molded ones. About the decals, All the red and green ones I didn't and tried to do so on the letters, I would love to have your exacto skills to cut... you decal maniac! I know you do on your models and they look so nice, I will try to do it on my next Supra and of course on my next rally models.

...even if the red and green were decals...kinda X-mas lookin...
In this part of the world it just says "¡Viva Mexico!" you know... green white and red? <--- Local joke

Hey Sjelic!
Have you finished that 1/43 ST185?? To much trouble drilling those vents?... come one show us your work! can't wait!

You know... I tried to make wash with X-19 (smoke) and gave me a kind of glossy look, maybe 'cause of the alcohol I used to dilute and after I applied a wash with XF-1 in the end to much black paint accumulated and over toasted a little the rims, but I really like how they turn out, but on next models I'll make'em better, thanks for comment!

What are you talking about... your scratch building skills are way better than mine... look at that S2000... but my advice is to buy a beautiful Sakatsu F20C engine like I did it's quite expensive for a little engine but worth every dollar, yen or pesos and you have to make many cuts and sanding to the car but it's impressive how well it fits just like Tamiya and Sakatsu were one. But I'm sure that a scratch one from you will turn out good. When do we'll get to see it?
