That would be a sweet kill...

Here's the same turbo Type R against a twin-turbo Callaway 'Vette:

Judge for yourself. BTW, that Callaway is putting out about 500++WHP, and 650+WTQ, from what I gathered.

i believe the viper was all out becasue the power dilvery of a turbo is much different fromthe power delivery of a v10 that only revs to 5.5K while the teg is probrably reving past 8K and is making power only in the 5K plus rpm range. while vipers power range is down low. so while the viper much better mid end, the highend of the teg should be better.

Re: Video: type R vs Full bolt on 1st gen Viper

Thats the thing about street races with strangers, even if they are on video it isn't always clear how hard the cars are being driven. These are cool videos though, thanks.

Does anyone know what the integra can do in the 1/4 mile, 11.0-12.5s?

maybe some of the other video's will be hosted for you nay sayer's.
I am not nay-saying mr defensive sheep. I just said I couldn't tell and I also can't tell if strangers are racing very easily. I think there are alot of people with this "problem". Like the stupid guy in the GTI yesterday who thought it would be fun to slow to 20 and then floor it on a turn looking at me and then almost wrecking his car when he hit stopped traffic around the turn.

Yeah I guess so feeble.

It IS too bad the driver didn't stick his thumb out or give a signal that he was full on racing.

It DID look like the Viper stopped accelerating because the Integra started gaining like mad. He could have had his foot to the floor, and according to you guys he probably did. OK feeble?
