You ever seen that Cash Money video with the Lambo spinning in place? Thats what AWD can do for ya. I just want to do that once. I got to get my hands on an Audi or better yet a WRX!

u can drift a fwd if its set up right. dial in a crapload of rear camber and put some hard, slippery tires on the rear and tell me that thing wont lose traction in the rear end (fishtail). as long as u dont hit the gas itll keep going. if u hit the gas the weight transfers to the rear wheels stabilizing the rear end. itll stabilize the rear end in a rwd too but u can compensate for that since the rear wheels are the ones driving u can throttle and clutch modulate to send shocks through the rear wheels to keep them broke free and accelerating. or if u have enough power u can just floor it and spin them. but fwd when u hit the gas it goes through the front wheels, not causing the rear wheels to have any additional stress, and the weight transfer stabilizes the rear end. so u can drift an individual corner, just not multiples (unless youre good!) my 93 civic hatchback would do it even without a lot of rear camber. if youve ever seen a "drift competition" they have a "fwd drifting" segment cuz they can drift not as good as a rwd but they can.

drifting is a controlled slide. You can e-brake the slides in FF but it still isn't the same effect and your e-brake can sieze up and not release, it's happend to me before. FF is also to nose heavy, RWD is more balanced and allows the rear wheels to slide while the front steer unlike FF when both have to do the job

a friend of mine showed me how to drift your front wheel drive car

and here is a valid point :

In Initial D they did it and if you don't know what initial D is then you ain't got no idea what drifting is

download morpheus and enter initial D into the search under video

ITs soooo cool
