Im thinking about getting a little cheater system about 50 shot for my G20. I almost never race (havent in like 2 months now) and I dont have a triger finger. So a NOS system would save me gas money, auto's work well with NOS, and it would be easyer on my engine. Remember a turbo is always putting stress on your engine but NOS is only when the trigger is down. I would much rather have a turbo though.

How does a nitrous system save gas money? you mean in comparison to a turbo kit? Also, that's only if you have a dry system, where there is no extra fuel, but, that's also VERY bad on your motor. And the turbo thing is a myth, they are not harder on the motor than nitrous, as they are not "on" all the time, unless you drive like a crazy focker! (if you've seen meet the parents, when they drag race ALL the way home, that part's funny... heh) When you are not boosting, there is nothing hurting the engine, no extra manifold pressure, no extra fuel, etc... the only thing i could think of would be added packpressure from the turbo, but... with a larger exhaust past the turbo, etc... who knows. (I'm sure someone on this list does know.... Bueller..?)

I did mean in comparison to a turbo and I also drive hard. Avg shift point would be 3.5-4k rpm for me and thats when im driving normal. The only time I drive like a sane person is when im driving my mom or my girl friend. So the car would be under boost every day. But this is a bad habbit and I hope all you out their will be good drivers. Im trying to get rid of this habbit but its sooooo hard.

bringing this post up, cuz i rather continue an old post, rather than put up another one just like it. =) newayz, i was thinking about NOS for my car. just for drag purposes and show. all about the points. newayz, 50 shot would give me how much hp? and i read that there's no need for an ecu upgrade if it's just a 50 shot? i'm not too clear on how nos works, as in 50 shot/100 shot...how long does a bottle last? ok. those are my questions. =) plus, any g20s out there running nos? please let me know what you think.

why not turbo you ask? cuz i have an automatic. and that's that.
