my drunken walk in Montreal wasn't nearly as far (maybe 10 minutes), but i was so hammered that i thought that every single pedestrian on the road was out to get me. no matter how innocent they looked, if i saw them and they were walking the same direction as me, i would start to walk a bit faster and get very worried.

Huh - just checked the distance of my walk home from a cocktail party years ago (at uni) - only 7 or 8km. hmmph. That was fun at 2-3am though

When I was in Sydney I regularly walked from the middle of town (Pitt st) to Bondi Junction - and once I went even further, cos there was a comic shop somewhere further on.

we do, but they cost too much....not 2 mention that it'd be better to take the T anyways, but the only reason as to why i didn't was because the Green Line was packed

Wow you walked someplace, good for you.
Maybe not the longest but the hardest distance I've ever walked was 12 miles through Mexico's Copper Canyon, from the top to the bottom (about 3000 feet) along paths that were essentially on the side of cliffs and at times less than 2 feet wide. I'm not doing that again.
