Re: IN PROGRESS: Nismo R32 S1

Thanks for all the compliments guys. I take a lot of pride in my work. I try my best.....

The paint is Tamiya Gunmetal. I shoots a lot lighter than the can color suggests. After the PMan recommended paint layers I hit it with the typical 5-step wet-sand kit, Tamiya blue compound and Tamiya wax. I received the Tamiya Ultra Fine Compound today and I hit the model with that stuff. Let me tell you, that stuff is GREAT. The model has more shine now....which I didn't think was possible.

blueboost - thanks for all the comments. Motivational words no doubt.

Nice touch with the filters...looks real cool. I hope to do something like that when I start my zexel street car. btw, since we're on the high performance skyline topic, what's the largest size turbos the 2.6 rb can run, if you know off hand?

Re: IN PROGRESS: Nismo R32 S1

Probably a T88 or a comparable size.

It can be the T88, but I´m sure it can go with some other turbo to. Maybe a Innovative or some truck turbo.

Re: Re: Re: Re: IN PROGRESS: Nismo R32 S1

Niska and hks thanks for your replies to my question. Im asking because the turbos on the ZEXEL look small, and well, it gives our great RB and small, ball less look. So, some monster turbos could fix that. Thanks again, and good look with your build.
