Re: A warning....

No, I didn't.

Others did, however I had told them not to AND I can't control the posts of others.

Re: A warning....

I think that AF is way too strict and its too easy to get banned. Who cares about post whoring? Seriously, do post counts really mean that much to you? People should be able to post whatever they want, and if some get offended, they should fuck off because it is just as easy as pressing the close button on your browser.
(oh and btw: dont ban me :-\ )

I had the same problems on Democraticunderground.org - They live by the motto "While interesting, the facts are meaningless."

You're right that the post count is meaningless, however so are posts that just take up space that contribute nothing. If offending someone is the goal of the poster (and I'm not saying that poster is you) then they deserve to be banned. If someone is offended by the content of a post then they should lighten up.

I've never been banned. I'm far too well behaved for that sort of thing!

If you don't like the way AF is run, leave. Postwhoring is a problem, as Yogs said we don't want the forum (and precious server space) clogged up with uneccessary posts. Posting something which some people may find offensive is not postwhoring, it's normal life.
