Exclamation Pajero 3.2 Gdi 2000 Swb Engine Block Warning Light, Engine block warning + power loss

HI everyone, just registered and have searched for an answer to my problems but found none.

I own a Pajero 3.2l turbo diesel GDI SWB year 2000, automatic. For some time now, especially when climbing up hill and pushing engine revs around 3200 rpm, the engine block warning light lights up accompanied with a massive loss of power. Releasing the accelerator pedal, the warning light goes off and the engine power resumes. This symptom does not occur when driving low revs. I also get from time to time the oil warning lighting up for a few seconds. My service garage has just changed the accelerator pedal sensor with no effect. Any ideas on what could be the origin of the problem? I am no mechanic but I was thinking in the direction of diesel pump or something to do with the turbo intake. Maybe it's an electronics' problem? Any idea would be greatly apreciated as I intend to go for a week of serious off-roading next month...
Thanks!

sounds more like a turbo issue. Get them to run a OBDII diagnostic on it. That is a what happened on Mack and it turned out to be an air leak behind the intercooler. A quick air line replacement and all was well.
