anyone has this prob? warning chime w/o warning lights

mine is a 00 4cyl Alero and it's almost 100K now...sometime when i make a big LEFT turn, the warning chime will come on without any warning light. it really scared me sometime cuz it is quiet in the car~~~

anyone has any idea?? Thanks * 1000000

What kind of warning chime, what came up on your dash? if a chime came on, there would be something lit up on your dash? w/o that info im lost. just from that info...washerfluid low? Help me out.

I had a 99 Grand Am 4 cyl that did the same thing. Found out that it was the oil pressure... the light is blocked by the wheel and it will go out as soon as the car straightens out. Might want to make sure your car has enough oil.

Its possible that when the chime comes on, it's setting off a light, but the light may just be burnt out. When you turn the key to 'ON' before starting the car, verify all the warning light come on and the car passes the self test stage. You can look in the owners manual and see all the warning lights to see which ones aren't lighting up.
