I couldn't have said it better myself.

As for the thread. I've raced 1st gen and 2nd gen Tibs. I walked away from them both without much of a problem.

alright, I'm sick of explaining myself. Ever since I put it on people been askin the same questions. I like it (my personal preference, not that of anybody elses), everybody is entitled to their own opinions. I think you will all agree with me when I say that everybody has there own style and what they do with their car is entirely up to them. I personally am trying to do a mix of style (style is in the eye of the beholder) and performance. Some of you might say, that's not style or performance, but that's your opinion and you are entitled to that.

SEriously though, when you wake up early for work/school/early morning buzz or whatever, isnt it nice to be able to get to work/school/ABC store in the car that appeals to your eye?

Well, then you should have said that in the first place rather than say you installed it to improve downforce for auto-x.

All I'm saying is the angle of attack is way too steep for the surface of the wing to work right. It's just drag. With a less extreme angle there would be less drag and MORE downforce.

If you like the wing, have fun wingin yourself around, it's your car. This is just advice on how to make it actually somewhat functional instead of a hinderance.

just clarify on that particular wing when the force of the wind against it reaches a certain point it tilts the wing up?.. now is this practical for ANY application.. im generally curious because ive never heard of a wing like that being used...

I've been thinking if I shaved maybe a 1 or 2 cm of the back legs it would help a little, the only problem is that I would have to cut and weld both legs so they are perfectly equal length, if it's off by a little, it's going to screw up the entire ride of my car.

The faster you go, the more the wing tilts down.

You may like it and I have no problem with it, personaly I don't like it but that was not the case, I said nothing about my opinon on the wing. What I did state was that you don't know what you are talking about. I call it the ricer complex, people think that anything found on a race car will improve their street car. I am sick and tired of seeing people post about how much things like your wing improved the performance of thier car, when I know that it did not. The fact is that I wanted to correct the mis-information before somebody that does not know better reads it and thinks that they need to go out and buy one and it will improve the performance of thier car, when in reality it will do nothing for them and the money will be wasted and chances are they will be laughed at if they go to any auto x or drag races. Thats my

Another wing on a front wheel drive car...

Tiburons are the best car to ever some out of Korea, but that means absolutely nothing. Never actually ridden in one, I just know there not to fast, and dont handle well. A much better $23,000 is a SRT-4 or a RSX-S.

Talking

I have a 2000 Tiburon 5 speed 2.0L and I beat a V-8 Mustang off the line and it took him until 50 mph for his v8 to finally kick in (what can i say, his engine was more than twice my size)

one came up behind me one night to see if i was a twin turbo 300zx. once he found out that i wasnt he came up beside me and looked over at me and held up his hand and said we would go on 3. We were probably going 50 mph, once the 3 count came i just left him......i beat him by about 5 car lengths before i slowed down.
