Joe covered it well. But for a 16g I would get a 15 psi spring, or 1 bar. There really is no reason to go below that. And the rule of thumb is you are safe to double the spring rating before you have problems, so its good to more boost htan you will ever run on it. For comparison, the stock actuator spring on 14b/16g etc is 10 psi roughly. If youthink you'llknock too much go witha 1 psi spring. Etc.

As another example, a car like mine that will run 25 psi without knocking on pump gas can get away with a 20 psi spring with a little room to turn it down, and enough headroom to run up to 40 psi. (LOL)
