yeah there mainly only for looks, downforce is another benifit with some kits but its not like your gonna be racing it in the formula 1 or something so it's not really that important. love to see that "custom cardboard kit" though! hee hee!

If you don't want to mess up your bumper, it might help to put a protective film, which saves your bumper from stone chips, scratches, insects etc. One website I found is PFT Films ( http://www.pftfilms.com/faqs.htm ) and it definately pays for itself, as you probably won't have to repaint it after installing.

you can also get more ricey friends that wanna pitch in and get alot of PILOT or APC stuff. i know, sort of off topic but i just wanted tp make a stupid ass response for some reason....oh yeah, probably cause its like 2am and im overtired lol
