I raced my friend stock, him having cai/h/e and I still beat him. I just don't know why people make civic si's out to be so awesome. The gsr is faster, looks better (in my opinion, everyone and their grandmother drive a civic), and the interior is much nicer. So why would someone go out and spend almost double for a civic si when they could get a gsr?
i never understood why all my friends ran out and bought civics but i also made them question why after i got my teg. homslice, where did you get your gsr from?? im looking for one now and i know that for the most part you just have to keep your eyes open but any tips would be appreciated.

Yea, when I was on the lookout for my teg, I just consistantly looked on autotrader.com for new listings. That coupled with looking in the major newspaper classifieds every few days lead me to my car. I believe that they (a mazda/saab dealer) originally wanted 10k for the car, but talked them down to 8.5k. Just keep looking like I told you, and something will eventually pop up. Be sure to get a carfax report and have a mechanic look at it before you buy, it is very worth the money. I almost bought a 98accord coupe but luckily the mechanic found that the frame was bent which saved me from not buying the car. Good luck looking, but be sure to not jump into buying a lemon.

BTW- never settle for their asking price, 90% of the time they will go down quite a bit in the price.
