Header wrap - Page 2

...Ok, so do you guys think I should use it or not. I have a stock exhaust manifold, I'm not getting headers so Im willing to do this. But it sounds risky if it breaks, but then again I dont have some high powered engine, its a D16y8.

Not worth it on a stock D16. IMO, its' not worth it on any car, as it does blacken and eventually burn off after time. Jet hot coating is a much better choice, it works better and it lasts longer.

No, you get the parts coated by jet hot, their "base" coating is a 1300 degree resistant coating, and you can get it in a polished silver, black, and I think a dark blue as well.

So you'd have to ship you part off and wait forever to get it back? It sounds cool and really professional, but sucks for people with only one car.
